Todayβs ride takes us from Caux to NeffiΓ¨s through some of the quietest roads you’ll find anywhere in Southern France.
It’s the kind of route that makes you wonder why more cyclists don’t know about it. Rolling vineyards, smooth tarmac, almost no traffic, and the feeling that the entire landscape belongs to you.
One question kept coming to mind during this ride:
Why are roads like these still so quiet?
Is it because cyclists head straight for Provence and the Alps? Are hidden roads like these actually the best places to ride? Or do you know even better roads elsewhere in France?
Let me know in the comments.
Ride With Me Ross is about exploring beautiful roads in HΓ©rault, Occitanie and Provence through the eyes of a curious everyday cyclist. No commentary, no interruptions, just real rides, real questions and some of the best cycling scenery in Europe.
