My brand new Endurace CF6 just came in and after the first ride I noticed some clunkiness going on in the rear derailleur. I found this stiff chain link (not the quick link) that’s stiff and I’m unable to work it out despite wiggling it in all directions (yes including the horizontal side). Is this normal for a brand new bike. Less than 20kms in.

Contact Canyon. Get a credit for a new chain. Use it to buy a proper Shimano chain – you know, one that was actually designed in conjunction with the cassette and rings, to achieve optimal shifting.
It frustrates me to no end when I see bike companies’ spec managers nickle-and-dime in that way, where the entire drivetrain is otherwise a matching 105, Ultegra, XT or whatever, and then they’ll throw in a different brand chain, for the sake of saving 2 bucks…
