This ride takes us across the remote tracks of Harkerside Moor above Wensleydale, linking together fast moorland trails, rocky doubletrack and stunning views across the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Starting near Castle Bolton and Redmire, the route explores the historic mining landscape of Harkerside Moor, including the classic Apedale Road climb and a mix of flowing descents and exposed moorland riding.
While this isn’t a downhill-focused ride, it offers everything that makes Yorkshire Dales mountain biking special: big views, quiet trails, challenging climbs and miles of open countryside.
