Hi qall! Looking to get into road biking to do my first Ironman and I'm hoping to get advice on what bike to choose. The trek has ultegra and the Fuji has 105. Both agreed to do $600, which would be the better bike? Also is the trek madone truly a 2014? From what I've seen it looks like an earlier model year. I am 5'8" and have tried both sizes on short rides and felt comfortable with both the bikes I tried. Any advice is appreciated thank you!

I’d go with the Fuji personally. I’d pick it for ultegra, not having a weird proprietary seatpost thing, and also because I have a VERY hard time believing that trek fits you well at 5’8.
