  1. Wow, you recommended bike after bike that has 24 to 26” wheels and that weigh 60 to 70+ pounds at least. Just think like a senior with even minor mobility issues for a moment, including lifting their leg over an 18 to 22” step over height. Most especially shorter seniors are going to have to lean that 60 to 70+ pound bike over a bit just to mount it and to get off of it. DUH, what are you guys smoking? The only realistic choice you made besides the 100+ lbs trikes was the Ride 1Up Portola.

  2. It would be kind of nice if you had some context for those who might not be all that familiar with e-bikes. What are class 1, 2, and 3 e-bikes? What conditions affect the mileage range given? I’m only starting looking at e-bikes, and a lot of this is fairly incomprehensible.

  3. Been trying to get a hold of customer service no answer. Have any suggestions on how to talk to a technician regarding batteries will not take a charge charger gets extremely hot. What do I do?

  4. What a waste of a senior's time ! I had to comment – seniors have pains / for me BACK PAIN ! : You completely left out Full Suspension !!! (rear wheel) !

  5. i'm a 5'2 senior who needs all the torque for steep hills and all the comfort of a cruiser and shock absorber. i know there's a bike angel out there who can gift me one. i am ready!

  6. Most step thru bikes do not have enough "swoop" room at base to actually step thru. Catch a foot and down to ground. Not impressed, get some actual senior input.

  7. Not only are some of these batteries volatile, some of these companies are too. EBC declared Chapter 7 bankruptcy in Oct. 2025, and RAD declared bankrupty after several battery fires, they refused to issue recalls and sold the company to new owners to avoid legal liability.
