Keep your eyes on the pedals with a focus on your catching foot.

It might also be time to move to a bank. Doing footwhips on flat can be limiting due to the loss of momentum.

  2. I really can’t clearly see it in your video but it looks like you are doing an “oppo” foot jam whip, not sure if oppo foot jam whip is a thing.

Tracking the pedals is what I normally do, and since I have black pedals I put some high-vis stickers on it so I can easily spot it.

Doing it the old school way like this with your foot pre dangling over makes it hard to keep the pedals level which in turn makes it hard to jump back on.  Learn to get into it jumping both feet straight from pedals.  Cos that’s how you’ll need to do it anyway when you take it to banks and quarters.
