I feel quite inexplicably giddy at the sight of this. Rarer in the wild than a penny farthing I’d say. Yes, I have seen a penny farthing in the wild. Now I cannot rest until I see scientific equipment in bicycle transit.

I like the idea but I always fear that the shaking isn’t good for the CRT and all the fragile components inside, so for this use case I prefer digital oscilloscopes over analogue ones, the reduced weight is also a bonus

This guy rode all 7 days of RAGBRAI on this beast last year. I have no idea how he handled the crazy descents. But, this guy is a legend in my eyes.

I have a penny farthing. They are _difficult_ to ride. The riding in itself is doable-ish, but stopping and getting of is a differentthing. Haven’t mastered that, so I’m not using it really.
