Hopefully you’re volunteering for trail maintenance riding like that.

Guys it’s a lift served bike park.

    He bought a ticket

They get paid to maintain the trails

The same way that in the wintertime, they get paid to groom the ski trails.

    Calm down about the shralping

If you’re gonna shralp, you either pay or you dig. Since he’s doing one of the two, more power to him.

Edit: Wow a lot of keyboard warriors on this site. Some seem to have forgotten that trails are for riding. A surprising amount of personal insults as well. Maybe log off for a little while?

  3. You had to know that posting videos of yourself schralping would be a bad idea, right?

  4. “YoU bEtTeR hElP wItH tRaIl mAiNteNaNcE”…..Its a bike park bro. I pay 700 a year to have the trail crew clean this up.

  5. It is such a shame that people moan about the roosts/shralping. Very seldom do they break the berms where people are actually riding and or need the grip.

Biggest destroyer of berms is braking in it. They are always in the main line of the turn. Whereas these are underneath main line or way after it.

Also this is a park, if there is anywhere that this is very acceptable is a bike park.

Add this to the list of shit the Reddit community gatekeepers get mad about.

    1. E-bikes
    2. Shralping
    3. Someone riding without a helmet
    4. Anyone riding a hard tail on anything other than a greenway
    5. Literally anyone having fun

    Sick video.

    You are all exhausting.

    You stole my bike!

I want to clarify, because Reddit, that he has the same slightly rare bike as me, and NOT that I am accusing him of a crime.

  8. Lmao all the people complaining about schralps is hilarious. This sub is such a complain fest, lighten up.

So many of you cry about riding on wet trails but damage trails by recklessly skidding, fish tailing in the corners like that that actually causes damage to the trails. It’s hypocritical.

  10. Yall are some geeks, so many people do shralps it’s completely fine smh. If trail builders have a problem with it they will say something but 99% of the time nobody cares.

Whole lotta whiny dorks in here. Kid’s 12, he’s shralping for the same reason that it’s fun to slash on a snowboard.

Neither of those berms will suffer any damage from these shralps, and neither of them are full corners or in consequential spots.

The same folks complaining about berm maintenance are the ones braking all the way through every berm, rolling over nice sharp jump lips and casing all the landings, all while your dropper post is still up and your trail pack is still on your seat. Lift serviced bike parks get absolutely TRASHED from braking bumps and people not pulling up on jumps, the occasional shralp isn’t doing a damn thing.. Go do an XC race NERDS.

Thanks for the engagement though 🤣🫡😘

You are all aware that breaking in corners causes more damage than a schralping correct? Plus half of you couldn’t schralp if you tried. All bark no bike lol
