have a Garmin 840 and two bike lights. One is the Trek Flare seen in the picture, and the other is a Sofirn BS01. The Trek I use for daytime riding and if I get caught in the dark – the Sofirn I use for extended night riding.

I want to streamline my setup a bit more. I think it's possible to mount the Trek light below the Garmin, but I'd need a new out in front mount and some adapters to make that happen.

I'm also considering something like a Raveman FR500 which mounts directly to the Garmin.

Anything else I should consider?

Get a stem-bolt mounted computer mount with a GoPro/light attachment underneath. Loads of options depending where you are. You cane even run a dual GoPro attachment underneath if you want two lights at once.

Ravemen also make an affordable out front mount that comes with the go pro adapter
