Ever wonder how a Polish punk rock singer ended up creating one of the most “core” mountain bike brands in history? Today, Josh dives deep into the unlikely success story of NS Bikes.
From the legendary Szymon Kobylinski (frontman of the 90s band “Blenders”) skipping the tour bus to ride his bike to shows, to becoming a national downhill champion—the DNA of NS Bikes is rooted in rebellion and a rider-first mentality.
We explore the brand’s evolution from sourcing parts in a garage to dominating the world stage with icons like Sam Pilgrim and Martin Söderström. Whether you’re a dirt jump enthusiast or a downhill fanatic, the story of NS Bikes is a masterclass in staying true to your roots despite industry “bumps in the road.”

My first full suspension bike was ns snabb 160 mm of travel 27.5 wheel. It was a very fun bike. After i watched this video cant wait to get myself a new soda
About to finish my ns eccentric and ride monday 🎉🎉🎉. Beautiful frame🎉
no, you got this wrong. Blenders was not a Punk Rock band, it was Funk Rock.
Hope the Polish Dartmoor brand also will be content soon Dartmoor Rocbird, Thunderbird etc.
are you TRYING to get the rest of those eccentric frames scooped up??? chillll bro i need a few more weeks to get mine
0:37 J.J. Abrams xD
I have a 2018 ns eccentric aluminum 27.5 and it’s awesome. It’s been put through so much abuse and still runs great.
I love how they bring the refinement of dj frames to the mtb world. Steel mtb frames in particular look like early 00s bmx frames, except for only a couple of brands including NS. I hope S&M/Blkmrkt will at some point venture into the mtb world and bring their framebuilding flavour along.
I Have NS FUZZ, is the best bike what i tested
NsBikes have good frame is best for big man like me ilove it 😎🤟
I've got a 2023 Define AL 160 and it's a pretty decent ride , handles pretty much everything I throw at it so I'm happy and I have to admit it's nice riding a bkie that not many people in my country have
It definitely draws some attention
dont forget about the decade frames the v1 are my favourite
as a Pole, I am proud of our Polish brand
We have share thousands of NS bikes bikes and content since 2013 in our magazine! It truly a brand that stands and supports lot of street and park riders around the world! Providing high quality and durable frames and parts! Im still curious about the O1 story, I knew Octane one is a part of NS too… but we would love to hear side stories about it! Cheers 🍻
Have NS Eccentric cro_mo
Feels like a BMX bikes on jump and turn
I own carbon Define. The frame is decent, not great, but the rest is terrible. The bearings are the cheapest, and they wear out after a year (I'm not a very heavy or hardcore rider). Everything was poorly put together. Luckily, I own a CNC workshop and was able to create my own better parts. And for the price, very basic components, very heavy wheels, low quality suspension and cheap brakes. To be honest I can not recommend this brand.
The best video title!
i was riding ns bikes frame and it was the best feeling frame i ever rode
Ive have owned, streetlegal, capital, Suburban, bitch and 2 eccentric 🤘🏻 loved them all. Still have 1 eccentric
The movement and decade
Broooo
Broke a Specialized Fuze frame and the NS Eccentric cromo 29 was the only affordable trail frame that I could find that could be built as a 27.5 plus. It was half the price of a Salsa Timberjack frame. It's a little heavy and burley, but I'm loving the feeling of steel. Stay True.
