After loads of research and wondering if this is the right decision or not, I finally did it!
I picked up my first Brompton from the Brompton shop in Covent Garden, London and it was a lovely experience. I live two hours away, so I got to take it for a ride, and then the train. The flexibility is incredible.
Looking forward to where this will take me!
Please share what your first few weeks looked like, and what upgrades (if any) I should consider.

Lights. I went with seemee light for brompton from tweeks. A front borough bag, and a cafe lock so you can go in to a shop and get coffee and stickies as you explore. You bike looks super nice enjoy the adventure.
Welcome to the club OP don’t worry about upgrades yet figure out how the bike fits you and if you find everything comfortable or not those will guide your upgrade choices the G line is relatively well specced out of the box too
Depending on what your going to use the G for, if it’s gravel, tracks etc consider changing the tyres, I had 4 punctures in the first month, then another in 3 months. They look great but in my experience puncture for fun, thorns seem to be their arch nemesis.
Comme toi, j’ai beaucoup hésité et ai finalement acheté le GLine électrique il y a 15 jours. Pour l’instant, je n’ai rien changé mais je vais l’équiper d’une béquille et j’ai acheté un cadenas abus !
