I think I got a pretty sweet deal on this one $75 1984 panasonic touring deluxe – already has 700c upgrade, bar end shifters, and new randonneur tires. What other things would you do this? I want to put some fenders, maybe a new saddle? Any suggestions?

I’d give the pedals a good stomp, then give it a weeklong environmental exposure test though whatever trails you have near you.
Put some decent tyres and saddle on it.
Tires and saddle. This is a great bike for that kinda money. The cranks are fine but of the era when the half-step is almost the same size as the larger chainring. No fenders til fall.
