Was chatting with my LBS owner and learned about this near mint early 2000s S-Works frame he had on the wall that was essentially worthless—due to a discontinued, unobtainable proprietary seat post clamp.

I am fortunate enough to have access to high end 3D-printers at work, so after a few rounds on the home FDM, we have a working prototype. Excited to get the part off the SLS machine soon and give this frame the second chance it deserves!

  1. A Hex/torx fastener would’ve been clutch for this piece! It’s amazing that you’re getting new life out of an “obsolete” frame

Nicely done. These non-standardized parts are a plague on the industry.

I have 1999 SWorks m4 road in my basement! I can show you what the seat clamp looks like

Cease and Desist from Specialized incoming next week. Litigation is how they stay in business.

Can’t sell new bikes if you can get parts for old ones.
