So in the summer I like to throw on a 42T chainring on my Fat Bike which has always have me hesitating upgrading to a carbon frameset. Does anyone know of a carbon frameset that would fit a 42T? I know manufacturers will never state it will fit including my current Felt DD70 but was wondering if anyone was able to male it work like I have.

None? Most mtb frames cant fit bigger than a 38-40 with boost
A frame that was built for a triple is more likely to take it, my Calibre frinstance I’d bet money can take a 42 if you don’t mind sacrificing chainline a little. A 9T equipped block would upgear you too.
Depending on your ring, you might be able to create more offset (and therefore frame clearance) with a different ring or flipping the current one . Also raceface have a selection of crank spindles so maybe going to a wider one would give good options, but again with some downsides.
Oh slightly OT but with those cranks be careful of loose pedal and crank arm inserts, they’re absolutely notorious for it (I broke 3 out of 4!), it’s actually quite fixable but if you let them get too loose it gets much harder. Gorgeous cranks though and they weigh as much as a ghost.
