A while back, someone posted a photo of one of Sweden’s — and Stockholm’s — narrowest bike lanes: https://www.reddit.com/r/bikecommuting/comments/1tq4hpl/a_new_bicycle_lane_in_sweden_that_i_think/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
I thought I’d improve Stockholm’s reputation a bit and balance things out with this photo of the bike lane that passes the Royal Palace in Stockholm’s Old Town.

EU is always one step ahead
Glorious. This is why I like the bus lanes around here. Room to spread out.
Well, sure, royal palace, pfft, so the king has a bike lane 🙂
What it’s like in Uppsala might be more representative 🙂
I ride here daily and it’s a massive improvement (it was widened just a few weeks ago). Now we just need to get ride of the coaches that regularly cross the bike like to park in front of the castle. You can see two in the background of the photo, but more often than not the right lane is full of them.
The widest bicycle lane in Beijing.

That girl in the front has an aggressive aero posture for a commuter
Sweeds seem to be delusional about bicycle widths
