Lidl Trek is a difficult one, winning a stage, winning a jersey and a top 5 GC is a pretty good result but as a team they looked like a complete mess.
The Napoli stage was so shit and ruined by the finish Benji forgot Astana won that with Ballerini 😂.

Rockets deserve C-tier. 10 top-10's is decent and also finishing the race with 8 riders is impressive for a first grand tour ever.

Lidl-trek should be A. I kwow they were disapointing in terms of results, and made some mistakes, but they were on of the most active teams, finsihed with a stage win, the mountain jersey and a top 5 (on par with the best GC expectations).
The rockets should be C tear, i was also a bit disapoint with results and activity, but the expectations might have been to high for a first GT, and for a pro Conti team. Even without a win, they had the best leadout, and proved worthy of being here, wish should be the main objective. Solid enough for a C.
Maybe Polti could also be B tier

I think unibet deserves C. Poels did well in the mountains, and the leadout for Kubis/Groenewegen both on poggio and in roma was pure class. Missed a stage win, but not for lack of trying.
This really annoys me, basing the performance of the pro teams on breakaways only. The deal the rockets had with the giro was NOT for breakaways, so why expect it ?
Uno X had an amazing debut Giro, 5 podiums including 1 stage win and a bunch of top 10s. Definitely atleast A based on the team they brought.
Decathlon start bouncing between A and S from about 10:40 / 11:20 / 12:20 😂
First Grand Tour and they made the Giro entertaining on Sprint days. Cant rate Rockets so low man.

I'm a NSN fan, and I have to agree with you. Pretty anonymous. I'm also Canadian, but its taking me time to shift my loyalty from NSN (which used to be a heavily Canadian team) to Lidl-Trek.
Uno X – A tier (1 stage win and many podiums considering their low budget)
Bahrain – A tier (They did great but S tier too much)
Astana – S tier (3 stage wins)
Decathlon / Red Bull – B tier (no stage wins considering their budget brings it down to Ineos / Lidl Trek level)
