Ukraine is fighting a relentless missile war, but instead of firing more interceptors, it’s turning to something far smarter. Meet Lima: the Ukrainian electronic warfare system capable of jamming and spoofing Russian missiles, sending even hypersonic weapons spiraling off-course into empty fields. Cheap, autonomous, and devastatingly effective, Lima is transforming modern air defense and saving Ukraine millions in the process. But Russia is adapting too, triggering an endless technological battle where innovation may decide the outcome of the war.

  1. This all sounds almost too good to be true. Didn't russia recently hit Kiev with a series of accurate kinzhal missile strikes?

  2. A side thought… I like to hear human speech instead of AI's thanks. Also thanks a lot for your reports. Slava Ukraini !

  3. There is an old song about a letter that keeps being returned and yes it was Elvis Presley but my brain likes lyrics so if I hear it too many times it gets buried in my brain and then comes back to haunt me so I play with the lyrics a bit:

Return to Sender, address well known, we've got their number, we know what zone…

  4. I saw a short on a Russian drone and the engineers were playing with it and they gained enough control to get it to rise up fly for a few seconds and land. They were laughing like children who had found a new toy. I think there will be a leap in their knowledge in a month maybe less. They are Ukrainian after all.

  5. Thanks trump as more and more of the west walk away from US weapon systems. It’s like he is destroying the US on purpose. I’m sure he isn’t….. 😔

  6. These companies that are defence developers zelensky should buy them out and that way brave 1 controls the contracts and all the weapons that are developed will be brave one and therefore in control of the weapons and who and how there used in the future Slava Ukraine

  7. Dude get real, this method is ancient. Though it can work, it usually isn't effective.
Nice Try. Spoofing is also ancient and no you can't make the missiles think they're in Peru. Did you overmedicate?

  8. I wonder if the Oreshnik might be vulnerable to laser or EMR weaponry similar to the Lima system. After all laser light or EMR of any type makes even a hypersonic missile seem slow.

  9. "Return to sender" was my thought and others as well. Imagine the advantage of one successful operation of such a technology. Russia would question every order to send a missile into the battlefield, if there were the possibility it would return to them. Warfare would end as we know it.

  10. There would be limits in what can be done, it is rare you can change the location value to something random like Peru, it is more likely the time signal will just deflect a little distance. Re-writing targets to the ground immediately is front of the missile is much more likely to be believed by the missile than say, turn around and hit things behind the lines. This actually explains a lot, including how Ukraine has been surviving the incoming ballistic missiles.

  11. Loose lips sink ships …you reall6y should keep this info close to the vest. No need in letting the occupiers know what is defeating them. Even if you think they know they may not be sure until you validate the news. SLAVA UKRAINE

  13. —- < Unfortunately, Russian drones and Kinzhal missiles still blow up something, somewhere . Redirecting them back into Russia would be optimum.

  14. I wish I could believe it is so effective. But I suspect that it is more a partially effective tool which needs constant innovation to stay ahead of countermeasures

  15. Ukraine must figure out how to destroy the Russian launch platforms for glide bombs, and hypersonic missiles such as the Khinzal and the Oreshnik. These platforms include Tu 160, Tu22M, Su34, and MiG31 aircraft. The elimination of these aircraft would help cut down on the glide bombing and missile launches a lot.

  16. Can Lima be configured to redirect the threat to Russian assets killing two birds with one stone – protect the Ukrainian target and take out a Russian target

  17. The Americans countered this with high end missles years ago using both more advanced air ground mapping tools and positioning awareness image recognition. And for aggression harm missles that find and whack ew

  18. Take notes this is how Russia is running out of time money manpower equipment. Soon they will have to give up their campaign into the Ukraine 🇺🇦 . God bless the Ukrainian people and their country.
