Cycling Mikey has become notorious online for capturing alleged dangerous or careless driving on London’s roads, which he reports to the police and then posts online.
He claims to have reported nearly 2,500 drivers since 2019 – but he’s not the only one.
Road users are increasingly recording their journeys, with around 23,000 submissions of such footage made to the Metropolitan Police in 2025.

The BBC video got it completely wrong by saying the Big Jobbers channel is about education. All the BJ does is to educatecus as to how insurance firms will view claims and a lot of the time it is due to pragmatism ie is it worth one firm contesting a claim when it may not go their way. This does not mean that the other driver, who appears to be blameless on the way the claim was settled, was actually blameless. Sometimes BJ will look at tfat in detail but most of the time he completely glosses over the contributory negligence of the other driver. That is not education about driving standards in the same way that Ashley Neal operates

Is It The Public's Job To Police London's Roads? Yes, because the law is not even present to enforce the law. On a 50 mile training ride i can see dozens of people on their phones, applying make-up, reading news paper, eating, watching TV on front mounted screens. The law is two decades behind current tech. Dash mounted screens that are essentially TV screens. Drivers who kill only get slap on the wrist and never do more than 5 years

When the UK police are busy arresting people over Facebook comments, the public has to do this job instead,

BigJobber has only recently started highlighting roadcraft issues, it was not unknown of him to state if you went around a blind corner, at a speed you could stop in the visible distance, that if you hit a car on the wrong side of the road, it's completely and utterly Thier fault, yes it might be so, but road craft should tell U to drive around the blind corner at the speed you can see to stop in. Because if you can see to stop in the distance at 40mph, if a car etc coming the other way also is doing 40 mph your screwed.
On the 18th Sept 2017 on the broom hill Rd Aberdeen, a van drove into me at 70 mph on a dual rd, I was taken to Aberdeen ARI as a fatality. The driver was withwitnesed by many drivers a fireman who just overtook me and then watched the accident and blocked the rd qs the drfivefr was not stopping. There was footage from a car camera and other drivers although very quiet rd at 5:30am. The driver never went to court and the court sat on the case. The police became sarcastic and I lost everything, home, family, friendfs. Im disabled with severe brain damage, Autism, Dyslexia, Type 1 bipolar, then two years on Adisons, chronic RA and chronic Heart issues from all the meds. So I paid a huge price for cycling to work. Poli e don't care be a cyclist and complain, Car drivers hate cyclists and always blame cyclists as one solicitor told me how cyclists where to blame then tried cycling for a charity event and was terrified. So I take daily meds to stay alive miss for two days and im dead, never thought after 12 years ex forces been to war, worked mountain rescue putting my life on the line worked for Police emergency control room, done my bit but most car drivers really don't like cyclists.
