On January 18, 2025, in Saint-Étienne, France, @nathan_c8 shared a video showing a cycling crash during an enduro trail ride. In the video, Nathan Cornillon, 22 years old, descends a rocky and uneven terrain before approaching a road-gap jump at speed. As he nears the jump, he hesitates and brakes slightly after feeling he was going too fast. The reduced speed causes him to come up short on the landing, hitting the terrain awkwardly and crashing hard onto the ground. According to the author, the impact caused significant pain in his shoulders for several days, his rear wheel was badly damaged in the crash, and he also suffered minor scratches.
