What a phenomenal fun event! I wish we had events like this for women in the SE US!
My wife belongs to a women’s cycling club in Atlanta but never seen 70 women at an event.

What a brilliant event for encouraging women into cycling. Being a bloke its sometimes easy to forget cycling is very male dominated, so this sort of event is truly important, not just for women but for the sport.
As I have said before you are a terrific ambassador, not just for women's cycling but for all cycling, so well done Katie ❤

Shokz headphone are an amazing product as an open-ear headphone. However, the messaging the any type of headphone being used when navigating any type of transportation needs to be taken with great caution. As an ER physician i am seeing more and more injuries (quite serious injuries) of patients that were impacted by a vehicle, escooter or even when riding in my ER. Many of these incidents could have been avoided if we regulated e-transporation and devices that decrease the attention because of environmental noise. Yes, the Shokz are open ear giving users the ability to be aware of transportation surrounded. However, the limitation on sound volume can be an distraction. In the future I would hope that influencers such as @katiekookaburra and other would brings awareness that not all of us can ride in area where there is minimal traffic, and the precaution one should have when wearing any type of device. I have seen riders use airpods when riding. That to me is insane!
