Two day and two night bike-touring trip of Podlasie Province (Podlaskie Voivodeship) of Poland, also known as the “Suwalki Gap”. Started on Friday in Kybartai on my gravel bike, visited Vištytis, Wiżajny, Krasnopol, Sejny, Zelwa, Kapčiamiestis, Druskinikai. Saturday was tough with 1001 meters of vertical elevation gain, but camping near a beautiful lake Pomorze in Tubolinka Nature Reserve made it all worth it. Also, saw blooming Sakura trees and daffodil flowers in Druskininkai, same as last year (what a sight!). Enjoy!

Thanks for the good photos! I'd like to ride in that area sometime. I hadn't known about the Augustów roundup other than that I knew such things happened in the forests of Poland after the war had supposedly ended. If I ever end up in that area I will be sure to stop at the memorial and pay my respects.
