Using a Tailfin-like rolltop bag w/ 3rd party racks

I have a hard time believing no one's tried strapping a Tailfin aero pack to an existing rack, but I haven't found real world experiences discussed anywhere. Maybe y'all have tried it?

Tldr:

will a tailfin aeropack strap to a basic rear rack like the Ortlieb quick rack without issues?

Context:

I've got an ortlieb quick rack, a thirst for easily-accesed gear + expandable storage, and no money.

Basic dry bags do the job but gear access is abysmal, meaning I can't pack anything I might need during the day. Opening them means a headache and at least 5-10 minutes. repacking+re-strapping.

The older aeropacks sell pretty cheap used, and it looks like there'd be no problem Voile-strapping one to my rack using those bottom strap retainers.

I'm really interested to hear what your brilliant minds have found for alternatives too. I don't necessarily want a tailfin, but they seem to be the only option for a relatively lightweight, top-access, rear rack compression bag that could mate with a 3rd party rack. Ortlieb's trunk bag is heavy + small, restrap's switch bag is spendy and has proprietary hardware on the bottom…and I think that's it for options.
