This is my first build, and I poured my heart into it. Did a ton of research before diving in, and I’m so stoked with how it turned out! I'm in love with this bike, it's such a blast to ride. lmk what you guys think!
It's 2×9 setup with 36/24T chainrings + 11–32 cassette, Suntour ratchet friction shifters, Shimano XTR RD-M951 Rapid Rise rear mech and Shimano Deore FD-MT60 front derailleur. I know the front deraileur looks like it's too high, that's because it was made for A 3X setup.
Cockpit: Sakae MTS-100 slingshot stem paired with these dope wide custom made albatross-inspired handlebars, Rindow Tarugata grips, Tektro FL750 brake levers.
Mavic Crossride hubs and rims
Maxxis DTH
Tektro Oryx cantilever brakes.
Edsen Steel Craft Coffee Rack.
Brooks Special C17 saddle.

Hell yeah!
Also the derailleur could I imagine be moved down a bit so that the outer plates are 1-3mm from the teeth of the chainring (I cannot remember if it’s 1 or 3mm but some nerd will correct me) (nerd is not an insult you guys I am one of you)
The flower wrapped around the brake cable is such a nice touch! Where did you get it
Rear derailleur is cool. Grips look super uncomfortable but fit the vibe well visually.
Looks like she’s being put to good use already! But I guarantee you if you swap those tires out you’ll transform the bike yet again. I have no clue why the DTH are so popular and recommended here. I also got them years ago when I got into this hobby as I didn’t know better. Then I got some RaceKing Protection’s and the difference was staggering!! Even Schwalbe Smart Sam’s are a nice budget pick. (they both come in tanwall which is mandatory)
Also how do you like those levers for your cantis? I really need some nicer ones ASAP
