If that headbadge is original to the frame, it’s older than that. It’s usually called the “anniversary” headbadge and they started using it in the ‘60s and discontinued it c.1970-71.
Raleighs are AWESOME for single-speed and fixed gears! Through the years I’ve converted a c.1958 Lenton Grand Prix and a ‘71 Competition to fixed-gear. Currently I have a ‘73 Competition Mk. II set up with 42/44T chain rings, a Surly Dingle 17/19T fixed cog and a 20/22T Dos Eno freewheel (70-in pavement/60-in gravel fixed and 60-in general noodling and 52-in careful singletrack). The bike getting the most love lately is a ‘73 Gran Sport with 39/42T rings, a 16T fixed cog and a 17/19T Dos Eno freewheel. That’s become my favorite mount for rambling solo rides over gravel and paved back roads!

Looks great, well done! Must be pretty quick.
