Cycling the loop from Winchester over three days – just finished day 1. Not pictured is a 1.5 litre camelback and another bottle.
Handlebar bag has valuables like kindle and power bank, with a 1-man tent attached below it. Saddle bag has sleeping bag and roll mat, frame bag has tools and toiletries, and then the few clothes I need are stuffed in any gaps.
It’s a great route! Though I wouldn’t like to do it in the wet, as there are chalky sections and narrow rutted byways. Plenty of places on mainline railway that let you join and peel off easily if you don’t want to do the whole thing.

Enjoy it! It’s a fun route, I like how it often feels far from civilisation despite being anything but. Also how the landscape changes over the course of the route. When I did it Salisbury plain was absolutely baking in a heatwave too
