Brompton P line + Thule Backpack

had a hard time finding a good backpack setup for my Brompton.

For years I’ve been using a The North Face Borealis (mine is 10+ years old), and recently I started looking at the Thule Chasm because it’s lightweight and waterproof.

Just as a heads-up: the newer Quad Lock / Thule Traverse backpacks are almost the same design, but the Chasm is noticeably cheaper.

So I bought the Chasm, added a front rack from AliExpress, and made this setup.

I think it looks pretty nice, and today I tested it on my commute (bike + train + bike) and it worked great. It fits my MacBook Pro 16”, lunch, and some extra items without any problem.
