Crash-
He indicated last second just as he pulled out he put it on, rear indicator not working atall only his mirror indicator I could see.
He didn’t check mirrors or blind spot before making turn.
The traffic infront of him had only just moved off, was queing traffic right up the high street. You can’t see from video due to camera behind me, looked as if he was just moving off slow once traffic infront had moved.
The junction the crash happened at you can cut through there to meet where the next junction on the right goes to. I believe he was waiting to see if traffic cleared for junction ahead but it didn’t so he then decided to make the turn to cut through instead.
I should have been more aware as approaching that even though indicators were not on that he could have been waiting on side road to clear before turning. I could have also been filtering a little slower, but I wasn’t riding silly speeds. I tried to avoid the crash by putting throttle on and trying to swerve around it, as felt if I had slammed brakes on would have more likely dropped bike, or gone over handlebars, or into the side of his car etc. I very nearly managed to get around the car to avoid the crash, I was in 3rd gear but if I was in 2nd I believe I would have had enough torque to get past without contact.
My bike was not damaged at all and neither was his car luckily. My foot took the full force and was pinned between his bumper and my engine. Luckily my foot was not injured too badly, bruised and sore and possibly some small fractures but not serious. Happy to have saved my bike. Highly recommend Alpinestars boots!
We shook hands and went seperate ways.
Only got my A-licence this year and cbt last year, so still learning and gaining from experience. Lesson learnt!
