You have good rims and aliexpress chainset and your first instinct is to change the rims?

H+Son rims look the business, no need to change imo.

I think shallow rims are way cleaner, and those h+sons look very smart. Deep carbon on the streets is whack and can cheapen the look imo

Deep V are still a thing? I haven’t really seen them out there anymore and I’m in NYC. I used to have H+S deep V’s on my Pista but that was 10+ years ago. I don’t even think H+ even makes them anymore?
Stick with the low profile. If you want to maybe liven up the build then perhaps a different color rim? This same rim in aluminum is on my radar for my next set.

Deep rims look sick but if you ride lots of hills the shallow rims are best. Good carbon rims are also pricey.
