It’s been 5 years since he passed and finally getting around to selling some of his stuff.
It’s obviously sat for 5 years and I’m sure needs some TLC but my pops did take care of all of his things.
Would it be worth it to take it to a shop for general maintenance or just sell it as is and what’s a fair price for this?

Yes, litespeed are awesome bikes. I’d do some googleing and try and figure out the year it was made, maybe email the company with the serial number on the bottom of the bike to figure out the year, and do a little comparison shopping on ebay listings to see what’s sold recently.
It doesn’t look tooooo old, I’d buy it if I had the need for another ti bike and money to spend.
Man, I just picked up a bike just like that and I’m loving it. If only my wife were taller haha.
I’m sorry for your loss.
Your old man had taste, that’s for sure. Sweet ride.
its a nice bike, but unfortunately its roughly 20 years old and rim brake bikes don’t fetch good money these days.
if you dont have a road bike and it fits you, id say fix it up and ride it. Ti frames are nice. big fan, personally.
Looks like he was enough of a connoisseur to get some hand built wheels. I respect that. Looks like shimano hubs.
I think on ebay something like that in good condition would go for ~1000 USD
Between $900-$1200
i would ride the fuck out of that if I were you. why sell it?
Great frame…. That fork is been known to fail and snap. I know because it happened to me
Do you really expect to never ever ride? A bike like that can be a reeeeally nice experience for getting around on when you don’t need to carry stuff with you. It’s be low maintenance too, I have one like that and I scrubbed the decals to make it more low key looking and it’s just such a nice balance of durability and speed.
If you put new tires on, level the seat out, and maybe do a new chain you could probably spend less than $100 a year average to own this bike forever. I just spent maybe $600 on mine but I’ve had it for 15 years and hadn’t done much more than tires, brake pads and bar tape for most of those. I’d say this bike offers a lot of value for that future savings.
If you wanna sell it I’d list it for like two or three grand and shop some offers.
