  1. Really beautiful this climb! I would also like to do!
My personal top four in europe are: 4/ Stelvio from Prato, 3/ Umbrail from St. Maria, 2/ Großglockner Hochalpenstrasse to Edelweißspitze from Bruck (hardest!), 1/ Große Scheidegg from Meiringen!

  2. My thoughts exactly, Paul. How could have no one made the link between Jura Mountains and Jurassic Park? Especially when you just ride under a dinosaur!

  3. Paul is spot on. The Jurassic Period is named for the Jura Mountains which contain the Jura Limestone formation, the type section for rocks of that age.

Maybe we should get together and do a “Geology Bike Tour of Europe”…

  4. You are one of the best YouTuber cyclists out there. Love seeing that Paul was there for the climb as well. Please don’t stop making these vids!

  5. Hi, Alex! I'm Denis, your subscriber from Moscow. Do you know what "moloko" word means in Russian language? It's translated as a "milk"! So it sounds for us as a milk cycling 🙂

  6. I know the climb. In Valais, it is not given much attention because there are many climbs in this region that seem more interesting, such as the Col du Sanetsch, the Barrage de Mauvoisin, the Barrage de Grande Dixence and the Barrage de Moiry. From the Col du Sanetsch (a dead end), you can see Mont Blanc, the Grand Combin and the Dent Blanche. But the climb is very long, covering more than 25 kilometres and almost 1,800 metres of elevation gain from Sion. On the other hand, there is little traffic, except at weekends. If you still haven't had enough at the Col du Sanetsch, the cable car to Gsteig near Gstaad allows you to combine the climb with the Col du Pillon and the Col de la Croix.
