Czech-Austrian Border Bash

Overnighter bikepacking trip on the Czech-Austrian border in Novohradské hory (or Gratzen mountains), getting out and about in the mountains. Loosely following where the old Iron Curtain was (although there's a specific trail for that- recommended!). For that reason, and a few others, the region is very empty- got to have the place almost to myself 🙂

Mostly doubleteack with smooth gravel and the odd chunky section, with a few km of rootier singletrack. The roads are super smooth too, it's one of those areas where you can put together a route that has just the right % split of surfaces that you fancy!
