I'm roughly 185.5cm tall with an inseam of 85.3cm. My ape index is positive with around 187,2cm.

I want to primarily use it for long distances and in a triathlon next year with clip-on aero bars. So I'll be spending a considerable amount of time in an aero position during the race and training.

Everyone says to size down, but I'm not sure since my legs are really short and my upper body quite long with slightly longer arms.

Canyon’s endurance bike is called the **Endurace**.

It appears you are looking for bike fitting help. Please make sure you post as screenshot of the Canyon size chart for your bike, with your point in it. See [this example](https://imgur.com/a/ALUfXyy)

I also have short legs and a Long Torso, especially for a woman. I love my Grizl (which is longer than the Endurace) in S, which is „Too big“ for me (I‘m 1,69 m).
Also rented the Endurace Size S for a week some years ago and it felt really good, so I just bought it and am really looking forward for it being shipped 🥰

  4. i generally trust their sizing recommendations. i got a bike fit before buying my first Ultimate and he recommended me the medium, because i was on the cusp of the M and S. he suggested medium because if I removed all the spacers and left everything else stock we’d wind up identically where my fit landed on the adjustable fit bike. FWIW, canyon now recommends me a Small Ultimate/Aeroad since the newer frames released (with the gear groove). assuming it comes with 2cm of spacers, sizing to a S I would run 1cm of spacer and be 2mm lower than my bike fitters’ rec and also 1.5cm shorter which I can adjust with hoods.
the aero extensions also add a great deal of adjustment in almost all directions.
