It's getting like that most places now. Even were I live in Bournemouth especially down the town centre. That's why very few people go down there anymore. You have to get the community to help sort it out. Its the only way to get things done these days

Stoke, Hanley etc give me the chills now with all the needles and drug paraphernalia littered about. I acutely feel sorry for anyone addicted to drugs, drink etc. I’m glad I’ve never been dragged into that dark hole so I do actually feel for anyone with an addiction. I just wish they’d take their crap with them. Kids, pets and all sorts could be injured and end up with god knows what. But I do also think the council should be doing more to keep our city clean. Some places in stoke have clearly not been maintained in years even though it’s been reported many times.
I’m proud to be a Stokie but I’m absolutely not proud of the city. I hate living here now. It’s like the forgotten city.
Not surprised the city centre is half shut down, charging to park 24/7 is a disgrace when council leave it in that mess and which people dump all the rubbish i wonder
You forgot to mention the rats running around the streets as well as all the blocked drains nothing spent on the infrastructure ,the best bargain in stoke is Monkey dust £2 a bag ,it was such a thriving town now look at it😢
