    Entering Magnolia! I know this route well. Love it! I miss seeing the fuselages on trains. It’s crazy to be so close to the trains as they’re switching. I dated someone who lived on the hill to your left there back in the nineties and the sounds the trains make as they switch is so, so loud! Crash! Bang! At all hours.

    We’re such a risk-averse culture that it blows my mind there’s no fence between the rails and us. I love it!

    I’m in Olympia now and riding in different places. Thanks for the throwback! You ever ride on that wooden suspension bridge over the tracks that takes you to the locks just north of here off Commodore? So fun!

    I have that same PDW “Alexandar Graham” Bell on my bike… and I think you’ve got the Redshift Cruise Control hoods too – we’re like bike twins!

    Did you also do the Magnolia loop while you were taking the long way home?

    You’d think it would be better guarded. Nothings going to hurt a train but fuselages are delicate things.
