This is why n+1 is a necessity. At least that’s what I tell my spouse.
Feel you man, my bike broke and was declared total loss last month, I spent the last month commuting with my wife’s bike, which is too small for me. Finally my new bike is ready at the store though. I hope you get your bike back in working order soon.
When all of my bikes are broken i usually switch to the Bicycle sharing system. A switch i also have to do when it rains and my bicycle with mud-guards is not functional.
I used to buy 1 bike at a time. Now I buy 2, just jump on and continue, and fix the other on the weekend. If you can afford it.
I’m booked in for medical screening that includes PSA test next month. The instructions say no sexual activity and no cycling for 72 hours before hand.
As a cycling commuter, the latter is the bigger problem.
