Hey guys !

I got everything pretty much dialed in for my self-sustaining europe tour this summer. I will be carrying everything myself and going from Denmark and as far south as possible before my family catches up later this summer in the car 🙂

I feel pretty confident about the setup and as a whole im satisfied, the only thing I have some doubt about is the hook on one of the sports rollers (See picture 2)

My hook has a pretty loose fitting, and I have tried every, single, angle…. I considered just rolling more of the protection film until it fitted.
I know the hook is only to make sure it won't fly out, and the top is pretty solid and adjusted, is the gap a problem ? The angle is the best way I found to grab onto the lowriders.

Ive never used sports rollers before so any advice is highly appreciated.

Hope you guys can help an outdoor loving danish guy !

  1. I think you should be placing them on the top bar of your rack. They seem very low and I think you will be hitting objects that will cause you to wreck.

As far as the hooks go that’s about right they don’t need to point up mine have usually ended up sideways. Slide the bag horizontal to put a rack support in the hook then downward to get the bag to lock in.

    RTFM!

You can flip the lower rail that the hook is on, so that it is higher up. You can also adjust the spacing of the hook, so that it is closer to the rack.

Just read the instructions that came with the product you are trying to install….

  3. Thank you to everyone, I moved them to the top rail, and adjusted everything once more, not it fits perfectly with no gap and can’t “swing”.

    So thanks everyone.

I like stripping my sport rollers down of any straps for tours, no need for flappy bits just run them like a roll top drybag.
