Any pointers for a noob? Last time I owned a bike was in highschool about 15 years ago. What resources should I direct my attention to? Any decent podcasts/YouTubers that someone can recommend for a beginner?
Congrats! I loved Cade Media on youtube when I got started. Look for those “what new cyclists should know” videos. Theres always some gems there.

Nice I have this bike. I love that color. I got new brake pads and it made a huge difference. https://a.co/d/0fY5yIIA

Most important thing is just to ride it. Look up some bike paths or safe spaces to test it out and try to get regular rides in. You won’t go very far at first, but your strength and endurance will rapidly improve.
Once you feel confident, I’d check in with how comfortable that seat is. Looks very soft to my eye, and everyone’s buns are different. Also, look into whether the tires are tubeless or not.
Buy a floor pump, a multi-tool, and a patch kit and you’ll be sucking diesel 🙂
Have fun and be safe

Looks like a sweet bike!
I’d check some of the basics – make sure chain is lubed and brake pads aren’t worn. If you notice rattling, squeeks etc those are things to pay attention to, but likely will be fine.
I’d recommend establishing a relationship with a local bike shop (ideally not a chain) good shops will often be happy to do a basic safety check on the bike to make sure it’s good to ride etc.
