[Ep. 1108] Finland opened its longest and tallest bridge on 18 April 2026 for walking and cycling. This video shows a real-time bike ride in both directions on the new Kruunuvuorensilta – Crown Mountain Bridge – in Helsinki, just three weeks after it opened.

Dit soort brug zou goed zijn voor Amsterdam over Het IJ. Dan breng je ook de tram naar Noord!
I know some spots in Belgium where I'd love to see a bridge like this, albeit a bit less steep.
The width of the bike and pedestrian path would have been perfect for the “Emschersprung” bridge… Yet another missed opportunity in Germany. 🙁

I'm curious what camera you use, if it's a GoPro or something else, I can recommend trying a DJI Osmo action cam since in my experience they have MUCH better microphone quality than the competitors. Especially for nature and atmosphere sounds.

Hopefully they'll improve the expansion joints so they're smoother to ride over.
I like how the bridge was opened for cyclists even before the tram line was opened.
