This will be my first ever mountain bike, I know they pretty much serve 2 different purposes. I've done extensive research and these are pretty much the only 2 bikes that sell a size small frame and do shipping. I do not want to buy used.

I had a Siskiu T7 in small and enjoyed it. The older 2022 model with the gradients blue to green. Awesome bike and a lot of value. I like that the newer version has UDH.
That said, the Haro definitely has better components and looks like a heck of a value. It is a Lot of bike though. Fox 38 with 170mm of travel for a first bike?
If you plan to ride big stuff, jumps, drops, chunk. Yeah the Haro is good for that.
The Haro is far and away the better spec’d bike.
However, if you’re in a place that is relatively flat and has milder trails (or only plan to ride easier trails), it’s A LOT of bike.
The T7 is a great bike for the price. People will bash it without ever seeing one in person because that’s what people do. Check out the trusted reviews online.
All of my bikes cost far more than that, but that’s because it’s a life long passion. I have zero hesitation recommending the T7, my brother and nephew now have them, and a few friends. It’s a solid choice.
If you can be patient, wait for the sales, they regularly drop in price by a few hundred bucks.

You can probably find a deal on a better bike, especially if you are small or XL size.
