See sellers description. I'm 6'2"…. Looking to get a bike to train for my first sprint triathlon. Currently ride modern specialized xl turbo tero x ebike that weighs 58lbs! I need a bike that I can use for long rides 60+ miles. These specs are way over my head, so any insights would be great! Almost 3k for a 13 yr old bike seems high. Is maintenance more expensive on high end components? What would I be getting myself into here for a tune up $ for example?

This bike is way overpriced. It’s like a $1500 bike.
That’s a tiny cassette sheesh. If you live somewhere with any hills or elevation whatsoever you’re gonna hate your life trying to ride this bike. This is also way too aggressive of a race bike for someone getting their first road bike. I would not recommend buying this bike regardless of price – find a less aggressive and less expensive endurance road bike and start there. If you fall in love with triathlons you’ll end up wanting a dedicated TT bike anyway.
Fuck no. Wayyy too overpriced. 1800, maybe. 1500, sure. 1300. very good deal.
