I just finished up getting my new-to-me Super Course back in road shape. This is my first vintage road bike so I am new to some of the brand names. I worked with a local bike shop on the wheel set and tires – they switched out the original for a set of pre owned Mavics that he had hanging and would better fit a 7 speed cassette. Are these a well regarded wheel? The bike rides fantastic – looking forward to putting the miles on this summer. Any advice or info is much appreciated!
