Here are some pics from a recent ride. 1800 miles from Brittany to Occitane and back via the Pyrenees. I've seen a lot of posts here recently asking about the canal paths, so I thought I'd share. I could have taken a Genesis Longitude with 2.4" tyres, but I'm really glad that I took the bike I did. The whole trip took way longer than expected. The route down was all sunshine. The route back through the foothills of the Pyrenees was hilly, and there was rain and headwinds after that. The tent was cheap and awesome, 3F UL Taiji 1.
I've done 6 trips through France, I think early to mid April is a great time to go!
