Someone claimed to me the other day that it was illegal for me to take a photo of his car after he nearly hit my motorcycle. Then a random bloke asked me what I was doing in HIS street and I had no reason to be in HIS street. Then this kid joined in and said it was ILLEGAL for me to annoy him.
People will just say all sorts of nonsense when they get angry. Its funny to watch in a way, the pre-frontal cortex of their brain giving way to the base urges and fight/flight

and late to what kind of "criticisms" you've got by other road recording channels
and i gotta say
man, those are really sore weirdos that got nothing, i saw one picking a random video of you just telling a lady blocking up an entire path, just because she's mad at cyclists, and had attitude, that she'd get scoled for her behaviour.
and that's like the worst they had, while acting as if they're the level headed ones while pulling up such ridiculous "criticism" because you very slowly, probably even on foot, passed by, saying something instead of meekly taking attitude without just stating the obvious: she's was being rude 🤷♀ that's the level of ego out there, even those putting on a calm face and acting all "sensible adult in the room" being so incredibly easy bruised.
now i don't know if and what kind of mistakes you made. maybe even off video. what i've seen so far seems all rather normal, just not taking peoples BS on the road.
She is a disgusting person I was sideswiped on my bike by a distracted driver who literally 30 seconds before saw me go through the intersection he was turning into, 30 seconds later on a straight piece of road he ran into me. It was daylight, I had a front light, 2 rear bright lights and a hi vis top on. His excuse "I didn't see you". A quiet residential street with no other vehicles or distractions. His passenger also didn't see me until the mirror and passenger door hit me. After I had exhausted my supply of profanities he admitted they were deep in conversation, I asked if he had actually seen me go through the intersection and he said yes. Keep up the good work Mikey.

I often think the people who are the most angry are the ones who instantly feel shame at being caught. There was no initial confusion or inquisitiveness (is that a word?). There was immediate defensiveness as if she was waiting for someone to approach and admonish her.
People like her are the very definition of why cell phone users need to be prosecuted for using them while in charge of a vehicle, because she thinks nobody ever got hurt from using a cell phone while they are stationary when in fact people have been killed because of the distraction caused by their phone use.
