I want to get into road bike but have no idea where to start. I seen this schwinn peloton pro that look good for $400 but I’m not sure. It’s a 60cm frame I’m about 6’4 with a 32’ inseam
Ima be the first to tell you no. It’s got some age and wear and tear, this is a 200$ bike max, and that being very generous. With your height you can probably find much better options in a better price point as they are harder to sell

I would pass for a few reasons.
Unless you live in a really flat place going up any hills with this gearing will suck.
The brake/shift levers from this era are prone to getting sticky and failing. They are pretty much impossible to fix.
Finally an older carbon fork especially one that looks like it has some decent scratches or worse can be a death trap if it fails.
Your height to inseam measurement seems strange, do you have very short legs for your height?
The way to measure your inseam is to put a book in between your legs with the top of the book against your man bits, then stand against the wall and measure the top of the book.

It’s 30y old. Worth roughly 200.

That’s not a 60cm frame, the seller has no idea what he has, it’s a 56
Schwinn Pelotons from this era are quite good bikes but this one is never going to fit you
At your height you probably need a 61 cm frame or perhaps even larger with a 38 to nch inseam

This is a great deal and could fit you, take Allen keys with you on the test ride to adjust the seat height
