Got it today on Facebook marketplace for a solid deal of 950$🥱 I know this setup is aggressive my dad that has been riding bikes for the longest told me I might not like it but I actually enjoy it more riding in a aggressive position than on my wife Roubaix

Idk much about bikes I just knew the wheels were very expensive same thing with the frame and the extra parts he put on it and for me the deal was solid everything works no issues on the breaks, wheels aren’t cracked or unbalanced, all I need to replace is the tires which I will do it this week and no soft spots on the frame or cracks!

  1. Saw this bike posted locally. Hope the wheels are clinchers and not tubular!

Also did you buy the bike just do normal road rides?? Unless you’re doing triathlons (Olympic distance or longer) getting a tt bike is just a bad idea. I don’t know anything about you but in all likelihood you would’ve been better off with a normal road bike. Good luck!

  2. Tubular wheels can suck a fat one. I’d rather ride a pair of no-name alloys than those. Even at three times the weight.

You bought a time trial bike as your first bike? Well, that’s ambitious.

  4. Are you planning to do triathlons? And only on very flat courses with no potholes in dry weather?

People in this sub are rude as hell. You’ve already bought the bike, go ride it and enjoy yourself!
