I feel like a kid with a new toy. I put a lot of time and research into this as I didn’t know where to even begin. I wanted a road bike but also a mountain bike as I felt more comfortable with an MTB. For context, all I rode before was a cruising bike so I didn’t know gravel bikes even existed. After some reading here on reddit I looked at bikes, almost got me a cannondale Carbon, I wasn’t sure, I checked out some trek bikes and Specialized but my wallet doesn’t go that deep until I saw Canyon bikes.
I loved the look but never saw them at any local bike shops. I went on eBay, found a canyon that looked like my perfect size, took a gamble, the seller was top notch, honest and communicative, he even recommended to take it to a bike shop for assembly.
Bike made it home, in its canyon box, took it to my local Trek shop about a mile away and I picked up and I’m so in love. She is a beauty and rides fast. Even the Trek guy complimented my ride.
