  1. this race is not real, how they casually decided to cut the most important final lap for the GC of this race on such short notice. Also plapp movement was a bit dirty, almost crashed cosnefroy off the road and caused soderqvist crash

  2. Man, these crosswind stages in Hungary were the most entertaining I've seen cycling in a long time!
Crazy strong ride by Plapp, Svrček, Nylands and also Pericas in my opinion.

  3. If cosnefroy was on the limit on the mountain stage, why didn’t plapp try to take the 12sec gap out of him to jump him in the standings. Seems like a missed opportunity.

  4. I mean when you are that good that you can just wait to see if your teammate is gonna win and then send it it's just not fair. Can't wait to see Merlier at the Tour.

  5. My hometown Pécs. I was soaking yesterday near the road.

Also Cosnefroy said today to a Hungarian reporter that he accepted the jury's decision.

  6. I'll never get tired of seeing Gaviria sprint early. Some things never change, and there's a comfort to be found in this.

  7. Söderqvist winning because of stage cancellation is like winning in F1 because the safety car comes out and you had a different strategy than everyone else. Super lucky, but sometimes it do be like that.

  8. Sure the Swede got a bit lucky, but all this talk about undeserving win or hints thereabouts, is nonsense. Things happen in races all the time, that's how this sport works, and he showed strength on both 2 last days.

  9. This race was better in every way than the first 6 stages of the Giro, which is kinda embarrasing for the Giro. Even with the shenanigans they pulled by holding GC times after cancelling that last lap, I still rate this race management better than the stage design in some of those Giro sprints.

  10. Disappointing that Plappy was left alone by his team in the crosswinds to do all the work himself. They prob spent it all trying to control earlier when that should have been UAE's job…
