So here’s a hack I thought of today: having a schrader adapter on one of the wheels (including the cap) all the time, so that you know you can inflate the wheels with an auto pump/compressor in any circumstance. (Happened to me once that i had a flat, the fluid inside sealed it but I couldn’t inflate it because I just had access to an auto compressor (I wasn’t on a ride, just commuting, but still annoying). Anyway, thought I’d share this..

  2. I’ve seen people do this. There’s nothing wrong with it, so long as you don’t mind it looking a bit odd. I keep one of these in my saddle bag along with the rest of my tire repair kit, very useful accessory.

  3. Been doing that for years. It’s the first thing that gets stuck on my bikes when they roll into the garage.

  4. Put it in your frame bag, rotational weight is more than frame weight. I’m not even joking, people might pay money to shave 40g off their bars and that’s about the same
