Well if your trails require full squish then yes. Also, if your trails dont require a full squish but you want one, then by all means get it. Either way you will have tons of fun riding! Looks like an awesome trail! Enjoy!

I got my first full suspension this year after riding a hardtail forever and it’s been awesome. Honestly I’m doing all the same trails I was doing before hand, but it is so much more comfortable haha I don’t feel like I’m getting beat up as much and just all round it feels so much smoother and nicer. I feel better after and during the smoothness just gives me a lot more confidence too.

  3. I say do it. Recently just converted my hardtail to a FS using an Ozark trail frame and it feels much, much better.

Wilson definitely has some trails that benefit from a full sus. Bingo in particular because it’s a pretty fast trail with some good tech here and there.

  5. Why is this so hard to decide? If you have the means you won’t be disappointed, if you don’t you’ll still be able to have a blast.

i made the switch from hardtail to full squish two years ago and it saved my lower back on chunky stuff. if your local trails have roots, rocks, or you’re feeling beat up after rides, it might be time. for a first full suspension that won’t break the bank, check out the [Giant Stance](https://featherab.com/shopit?Giant+Stance) or [Polygon Siskiu D7](https://featherab.com/shopit?Polygon+Siskiu+D7). the [Marin Rift Zone](https://featherab.com/shopit?Marin+Rift+Zone) is another solid value pick. but keep the hardtail for smoother trails or dirt jumps – having both is the real move
