Ukrainians can be really proud of their leadership. I also have a huge respect for the bravery, perseverance and innovation of the whole of Ukraine.
What I don't understand, however, is that through 500.000.000, free Europeans are at Ukraine's side. Why, for God's sake, does the Ukrainian government, United24, etc. still not offer easy ways to donate to the defense of Ukraine??? I am sure that the willingness of the European population to donate (without credit cards) is massively underestimated!!!
My deep hope is that Germany and the EU is doing more than known officially.

When a country strives to check all the boxes , gains international community trust . Can a system (within the organizations of international standards ) be implemented where breach of protocol has immediate consequences ?
In this case , it looked like fledgling democracy of russia was in breach of humanitarian international organization protocol by attacking neighbours , retracting its populations’ political opposition . Using development projects like Nordstream against neighbours and so on .
Once in breach , freezes , sanctions , capitol flow ( think twice about hard to trace Cryptocurrencies) and let’s say diplomatic isolation , immediate court proceedings . All laid out for all leaders to adhere to . If there is no adherence , immediate breach and court subjugation .

Germany betrayed Ukraine from 2000 til 2022!
The most overhyped, overestimated and overappreciated politician in Germany.
Just a few days ago the public learned he uses the ministry of defense to supply well paid positions to his comrade party members and just had a loud argument with Bundeswehr officials about that … just as one would expect from a dying labour party in some western European country. Also his expertise is very limited unfortunately.
He is very much like a successor of the other labour lemonhead that used to be our minister of health during Covid. Almost zero knowledge but a lot of very strong opinions.
The damage such people inflict is insane. This Lauterbach guy literally k°lled people just to look important and Pistorius is just brazenly useing all these extra billions he got to subsidize his own (people and constituencys … in the north so many great ships have to be build) and sets the Bundeswehr on a very bad path with all of this stuff hes ordering which except for naval is either outdated or foreign or both. The bureaucracy tries to contain him but I daubt they will be succed if that guy remains in office for longer.

Germany is still ending up with Russian LNG, but not through direct purchases. It arrives indirectly via other EU countries, mainly Belgium and France, and is then counted as “Belgian” gas in German statistics. It looks like playing both sides, so does Europe want this to truly end this war?

Music to my Swedish ears! We Europeans must come together and build our own defence infrastructure. Made in Europe – not because some weird Europe first idea… but because we need to be resilient and selfreliant… China and USA have their own path and struggle… we have Russia – a state with so much internal problems and backward thinking it will take decades for them to stabilize. As with USA – after the current leader something else will follow for better or for worse for a while but you have to understand the core of the country and the probability they turn reliable and not crazy imperial again… and again…
European defence industries should flock around Ukraine to learn. The Ukrainians understand the future. USA are lost and dug down in extremely costly military infrastructure that look good on paper and for an overwhelming strike for two weeks… War is a grind! USA arent built for war – they win battles but have lost all wars – they are focused on powerprojection, strikes and temporarily holding areas… Loosers with big guns.
And as for Ukraine! What a country – what a population! THEY are fighting this war for us. My homecountry and government have done some to supply the Ukrainians and I like them to do more and I know they will as I know here in Sweden we understand what at stake (war will come to the Baltics (our neighbours) if Russia have success in Ukraine). Russia need to be stopped in Ukraine and they should relent areas they have invaded.
P.S.: It's not Ukraine's or Latvia's fault that Russia attacked them with Ukrainian drones recently, so a helpful reaction is to defend countries near Russia better. In 2022, Zelensky was offered help escaping, but asked for weapons to stay and fight instead. Latvia's leader (this one or next) should do the same.
Ukraine sent engineers to determine why & help them better defend themselves.
Russian drone-hackers having started learning how to redirect Ukrainian drones is horrifying,
but if anyone can adapt quickly, it's Ukrainian defenders. … Heroic geniuses (by necessity, not choice) whose innovations are immediately applied by drone manufacturers whose primary motivation also continues♾️ to be saving lives!

Other countries can buy drones, train their personnel, and repel attacks by most offenders, but for "state-of-the-art" updates (kit AND strategic use),
a fully committed partnership will be most beneficial.

I agree with Finland's President that Ukraine should be invited into both the EU and NATO. Ukraine has behaved relatively honorably on battlefields (esp re kids and other civilians), has the most effective modern "assymetrical warfare" kit & skills, AND has personnel with updated war-tested experience (in battle, maintenance, repairs, weaknesses, Etc.) for using >>every type<<
of foreign military equipment that has been donated to Ukraine over years now.
